2020 Vision
2020 vision, 2020 hindsight, 2020...the year the earth picked us to be the cure.
We are living through a pandemic, we saw the rise of protests and Black Lives Matter, we witnessed and participated in the strangest election of our lifetime. Yet, this year has been one of the greatest years of my life.
It’s uncomfortable to say that out loud but my family’s health and my family’s economic security has been safe throughout these last months.
I have created the most amount of content and connected with more people than ever before. I have worked spreading the gospel of kind marketing with you 30 Seconds at a time. I have worked on connecting with you, I have tried my best to bring smiles and laughter and knowledge to everybody that has shared their time to click play.
For that I am blessed and grateful and feel a responsibility to do what I can to help make this world a better place.
I offer deep bows of sorrow to those who have lost loved ones and have economically struggled throughout this year.
2021 offers us the opportunity to collectively be the cure once again. My wish is that 2021 is the year of kindness to our neighbors, kindness to strangers, kindness to the earth.
With blessings and love, I thank you for being part of my journey over this past year.

Beyond Gender / Pittsburgh Fashion Week 2020

Hearing about Pittsburgh Fashion Week’s call for film submissions, Lee Ann and I couldn’t wait to team up and create a film and photoshoot to go along with the film. We decided that the concept of the film and photoshoot would encompass the concept of gender inclusivity and fluidity in fashion. The purpose of the film was to show how fashion goes beyond the boundaries of gender and how fashion, no matter its look or design, can and should break down the barriers and confines of gender.
It was accepted and we were THRILLED!
The incredibly talented designer and owner of Bohyne, Colleen Bankovich, graciously allowed us to borrow some of her designs from her ethically made, fairtrade, sustainable brand of garments that also come with a mission of philanthropy, social justice, and environmental reform. As you’ll see in the film and photos, both Ryan and Bianca wore the same outfits and pieces but in different ways to suit their personalities and styles.
This film presents the statement of fashion being used as a tool that creates and supports the global unification of genderless fashion. Our hope is that this film and photographs inspire others in fashion to go beyond inclusivity and beyond gender.

BRILLIANT IDEA OF THE DAY
Once the pandemic set in full force, creating marketing videos for my clients was pretty much dead in the water...or so I thought.
Barry, owner of Boyd and Blair Vodka, and I have been working together for months and I hated to see the momentum we had going with the videos we created for his marketing strategy start to slow. But then a brilliant idea was born.
In order to keep the momentum going, we decided to have Barry send me bottles of alcohol from his distillery so I could continue to create videos showcasing his products, but still obey all the safety guidelines for the pandemic.
First, I can’t tell you how awesome it was to get back to work. Second, it pushed me in a whole new creative direction and I couldn’t be happier with this new look.
Getting out of my comfort zone really paid off AND I was able to continue helping Barry build his audience and maintain visibility for his business. What a win/win.
